Probably the single most prevalent mistake new and intermediate marketers (and entrepreneurs of all
types) make is that they don’t take enough action. They are full of great ideas, but don’t take the initiative
to turn those ideas into actions. I truly believe that 99% of people have a million dollar idea in their heads,
but only 1 out of those 999 people will even take that very first step to turn that idea into a reality.
The same is true for this membership site. I don’t like to make promises, but I can assure that the words on this website (or pixels on your screen) will not make you a dime. Words are words. By saying you are a customer of mine doesn’t magically mean money will start depositing into your bank account. I wish it worked that way, trust me! In order to get the most out of this membership site you need to commit to not only read the words of this school site, but to take action on those words.
This is true for any product or software you ever buy. You need to make them work, it will not just happen by itself. For what it’s worth, let me tell you what I tell anybody who asks me for help making money. I tell them that if they are completely new, then they should be spending 50% of their time reading and learning and 50% of their time taking action. As time goes by and you start understanding how things work a bit more,
the percentage of time taking action should only increase.
By the time you read this guide all the way through, you should be at the point where you can safely bump up to 60% or more of your time taking action. Even if the actual initial action isn’t making you money, the forward momentum you create will lead you closer and closer in the direction of making money.
I strongly urge every customer to take the above point seriously as I see way too many people learning,
roaming the forums and never actually doing anything. I can assure you that if you are full of knowledge
and don’t take action you will not make any money. There are countless people out there that know more
about what I am doing then I know, but I take more action than most people and therefore make more
money than them. I go to seminars sometimes and get people telling me some of the stuff I do is
backwards.
The funny thing is that many times they are probably right. The sad thing is that I make more money than them not because I know more but because I take more action. A good exercise for those who are serious about making it big online or offline is to have a daily blog.
They take only 2 minutes to set up and help tremendously in holding you accountable for how much action you take. I tell my students to have a stopwatch and calculate how much time they spend
- 1) taking action
- 2) learning, browsing forums, blogs, and reading products. You would be amazed how effective holding yourself accountable for the action you take really is.
And lastly, the biggest question I get after I tell people that they should be spending a minimum of 50% of
their time taking action is, “I don’t know what I am supposed to take action on” or “I’m not good enough or
don’t know enough yet to do anything productive”. My response to both is the same, hogwash! You learn
substantially better by making mistakes and jumping into the fire than you do by reading forums & other stuffs.
Another huge mistake many people make is that they want to be an expert or at least very good at
something before they try it. That’s a bad strategy. Just learn the basics and then become an expert
through trial and error by taking action. As I said, taking action creates positive forward momentum.

Take a day and install WordPress and set up a fake site just to learn how it’s done. Start clicking things, pressing things, moving things, just mess around. I can guarantee you will learn WordPress much faster that way than by reading eBooks and watching a million videos on WordPress.
Other things you can do from day one is start writing up a business plan, start applying to CPA networks if you decide to do something on the CPA side, start coming up with a list of companies you want to provide your services to, or buy your first hosting account.
So the words of this guide and the knowledge in your head won’t make you money, but the action you take
on these words and that knowledge will. Do yourself a favor and do whatever it takes to motivate you to
be an action taking Jedi!
